: What is the best software to clean your computer?
I’m looking for an alternative software to CCleaner and Window Washer. CCleaner doesn’t seem to speed up my computer but good at freeing up space in the hard drive. What software would you recommend? I don’t like WinCleaner. A software that speeds up your PC, faster shut downs and startups, free up space, cleans all internet traces. A software that actually WORKS! Thanks!

Try Avast. really nice antivirus and cleaner.

An operating system is jsut going to slow down over time, there has even been research done to this effect and a term for it ‘winrot’. The best way to ‘clean’ a system if you dont have specific items to ‘clean up’ is as already stated a a clean reinstall of the operating system.
