Vladimir: What is the best place to buy reasonably priced maternity clothes and accessories?
Where is the best place to buy reasonably priced maternity clothes and accessories such as maternity jeans, maternity girdle, support hosiery, feeding bra, etc? We are living in the Washington DC metropolitan area and did check Ross, Marshall and TJ Maxx stores. Where else can we buy necessary things which will have good quality and low price?
Thank you all who answered to this question. I’ve found 3 maternity outlets not so fat from DC area. It looks like this is the best place for maternity shopping.
Maternity Outlet in Leesburg (241 Fort Evans Rd NE # 1307, Leesburg, VA)
Maternity Outlet at Arundel Mills Mall (7000 Arundel Mills Cir # 509, Hanover, MD)
Mothers Work Maternity Outlet (2700 Potomac Mills Cir # 236, Woodbridge, VA.)

I’m not sure about the DC area, but Target has some really cute maternity clothes at low prices. I also got a belly band there that works great for 17 dollars. I live in a small town area so I’m not sure about anywhere else.Answer by Harley
Target, WalMart, Kohl’s, Motherhood, 2nd hand stores (since a lot of maternity clothes are only worn for a short period of time). Check e-bay as well, and try googling maternity shops in your area and online in general. There’s an outlet mall in Leesburg (west of DC), and in Williamsburg (a few hours south of DC).
Just another note, there are a lot of styles these days that offer up flowy tops for women in just about every store. The same goes for dresses. I’ve got a couple of regular shirts that I *know* I could wear if I were 6 months pregnant right now lol.
I live just outside of DC, so trust me, I understand the budgeting.
Answer by KateI found that JC Penny and Motherhood Maternity are both good decent places to buy maternity clothes. I have also bought some stuff from Kohls and from Target. Kohls has a lot of ugly maternity clothes, so I would wouldn’t rely on them too much. To be honest, most of my clothes came from Motherhood Maternity because we live about 90 minutes from Williamsburg, Va where there’s an outlet there. DC isn’t too far from Williamsburg and maybe you can make a trip there and go shopping. There’s a Carter’s and Osh Kosh baby clothes store there that has really good sales/clearance sections.Answer by Angela Avalon
Thrift stores. Also a good place to buy baby stuff too. If you have any friends that have recently had a baby, see if they have any stuff lying around they want to get rid of. Or, maybe they are saving it to get pregnant again. Ask to borrow it and promise to return it when you no longer need it.Answer by Your
i would try KOHL”S dep store it very cheap and they have all new styles that go by the season not over sized i will recommend it a lot and sometimes they have power hour on friday and saturday which means you save and additional more and you can even buy clothes for the baby there too.. you should have one there in DC if not you can shop on-line hope it helpsAnswer by SadGirl1974

Look in the back of Baby Gap- they have a Gap Maternity section, and it is awesome for clothes. They look like clothes you would normally wear, and don’t have that mom-ish look to them. They have some good business casual clothes too (khakis, button down shirts, etc). It is the only place that I have found clothes that I actually feel good in and that is reasonably priced. Good luck!
