Pineapple Shortcake: What is enjoyable about relationships in you’re not allowed to be “in love”?
From my experience, relationships are not fun at all. They are usually about one person being in love and the other person pretending. How do you deal with being on the “pretending” end long enough to get accustomed to it?
Sex is usually the fakest part for the pretender!!

You should never pretend to be in love. If one person is in love, and the other isn’t, you should call it quits. Both people in the relationship should be on the same page at all times. If not, it will never be a real, happy, or fun relationship, and it will lack real happiness. It’s okay to be single too. When the right person comes around, you’ll know it. You can’t search for love. It’s totally unexpected yet the best thing in the world.Answer by chloe_girl40
You should probably look for better relationships..geez Debbie downer! When you find someone who shares in your feelings (and it can happen) than its a magical experience! I got lucky and found someone who is as crazy for me as I am for him and I know he is genuine. Will it last forever? Not sure..we are young still (almost 21) but I’d like to hope it will. Either way I’m enjoying the experience for as long as I have him!Answer by Violators will be prosecuted
If you are on the pretending end, or for that matter if he is. Get out, it’s the wrong relationship. There is someone out there that is right for you. I wasted SO many years of my life “pretending” or maybe it was hoping…I don’t know, but I am 33 now and just now found the love of my life. Sad huh? At least I can say that I found him now though. He’s out there for you as well, just cut out all the pretending and all the hoping, spend some time with the girls and make yourself available and eventually you’ll meet Mr Right and neither one of you will have to pretend and it will be awesome. To answer your last question, you don’t get accustomed to be on the pretending end, you might adapt, not get accustomed to it though. Best of luck and remember he’s out there, until then, get rid of Mr. Wrong and go out and have fun!!
