Adam: What is a good bike rack that holds a male and female style of bike frame?
We have a Yukon and have a hitch, so we are looking for a hitch mount style that will hold from 2-3 bikes. One question I have is that all pictures of racks online show them holding male bikes. What about my wife’s bike which has a female frame?
Thanks.

They make frame adapters that go between the headset and the saddle that give you that top tube so you can mount the bike. Walmart has them for around $ 15

You can use the upper tube of the female bike. It will hung at an angle but that is no problem.Answer by Mtrlpqbiker
Any hitch rack that supports the wheels will work, there are many different ones. Racks that support the top tube don’t work very well on any bike that has any kind of slope in the top tube, the bike hangs at an angle with one wheel much closer to the ground than the other. My rack was made by Sportrack, it was not that expensive and I have had it for years. As a bonus, any hitch rack will fit any car that has hitch, so you don’t have to buy expensive adapters if you buy a new carAnswer by Young
Mongoose Status 3.0 Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels) is great. If your looking to actually ride the mountains and go through rough terrain this is not the bike for you.. the rear shock is pretty much useless the front shock is horrible when you press the front brakes the front shock wobbles its not made well at all.. as far as absorbing the bumps the front shock is ok… the brakes are ok and the gears are good. When I received the bike it was very easy to assemble I just had to bring it to a bike shop to adjust the gears so they shift properly other then that…
