Cori B: What hotels in Anaheim offer a view of Disneyland from the guestrooms besides the 3 Disneyland resort hotels?
The three disneyland hotels are too expensive but I am looking for other hotels where my three year old daughter can watch the fireworks at night from her room.

You know disneyland has alot of trees, so the views wouldnt be that good. But if you want the best one, id suggest the Dinseyland hotels. But if the hotels are like all full, id suggest you go to Buena Park, about 10 mins from disneyland and right where Knots Berry Farm is 🙂
edit: Oh you want to see fireworks? Then maybe hotel like across the street?
Answer by ObviousmanThe two I always recommend are the Candy Cane Inn and the HoJo (Howard Johnson). Both are on Harbor, right next to Disneyland, and you can see the fireworks very easily from the property (in fact, MANY people do). You might not be able to see them from all the rooms, but in each case, you can walk a few steps to see them.
I don’t usually recommend the Menage, but it’s been refurbished, renamed (from a Holiday Inn), and it is definitely the closest to the fireworks. You can sit in the pool or spa and you’re literally right underneath the fireworks. This is because the Menage is just north of Disneyland, on the other side of I-5, and they shoot the big fireworks from the north part of the property.
Have fun!
Answer by Jeff HThe Howard Johnson can give you a good view from your room, if you are on the Disneyland side, and it is fairly reasonable. The Disneyland side is the best, not only can you see the fireworks but it is the quietest side from what I have heard. Most hotels around the Disneyland area, if they are several stories high, can offer a view of the fireworks form the rooms on the Disney side. Although a bit farther away we had a good view from The Sheraton Park Hotel as we were high up on the Disneyland side. If you are booking thourgh a travel agent then mention your requirements to them. For some idas of hotels you can try this map
If it does not work you can go through the Disney web site.
