hotelsitedirectory: How can I find the best and cheapest hotels in Las Vegas?
I am planning a trip to Las Vegas. I have already booked a flight but have not found a good hotel. Because my budget is limited, I was wondering if anyone in the Yahoo Community could suggest a website or directory for hotels.

Right now, Vegas hotels are offering smoking deals.
Check Expedia or kayak and then go to each hotel’s website.
It’s unfortunate that you’ve already booked your airfare, unless it was an amazing deal, as some hotels are offering package deals with airfare that cut the price of your cost in half (or more).
On the strip, the least expensive places are usually Imperial Palace, Harrah’s, Travel Lodge, and sometimes Excelsior or Luxor.
The Westin (on a sidestreet off the strip a block) was offering deals below $ 80, if you don’t need a giant casino or a perfect strip view.
Once you’ve booked a room, you can keep checking their rates. If they get cheaper, or a they add a package of some sort (like gift certificates or credits), then call the hotel and ask them to honor it.

Play around with the departure and arrival date to get a good deal. This is especially important if you are booking a hotel and a flight for vacation. Sometimes, just a couple days of difference will save you hundreds of dollars on flights and hotel fees.
If possible, don’t book vacation packages (flights / hotel) during peak season. You can easily save a lot of money by avoiding the peak travel seasons.
