Sabrina: What hotel can I book with a minimum check in age of 18?
A friend and I are planning a weekend near Western Carolina University. We are trying to book a hotel room but most have on the website Minimum check in age:21. Someone suggested that there may be a law that says hotels are REQUIRED to provide acoomidations regardless of your age. I think it would just be eaiser to find a hotel that already had the 18 year age limit. Any suggestions?

Luxor and Las Vegas Hilton.
This is the Las Vegas category.
Answer by MelissaHotels aren’t required to provide accommodations regardless of your age. They are certainly allowed to set their own policies.
This is the Vegas category, and I’m not familiar enough with the area you’re looking into to give you specific insight. Many big chain hotels require that you be 18 to check in, particulalry in locations that don’t involve gambling.
A quick search shows that there is a Holiday Inn Express in the area, and it doesn’t indicate a minimum age of 21. Farther out are a Hampton Inn and a Fairfield Inn, and they don’t indicate an age of 21 either. It looks like many of the other places around there are independent hotels, who can set their own minimum age, and it appears that several have done that.
Answer by HerfnerdThe only suggestion I can make is that Cullowhee is about 2500 miles from Vegas….
