cz73: What happens to that extra garbage day when there is a holiday?
After every monday holiday, our garbage gets picked up a day late and it goes back to normal the next week. What about the people who normally get their garbage picked up on Saturdays? Do the garbage men have to work Sunday? If so, it’s kind of stupid to even bother having a holiday.

They probably have extended routes on the other days to make up for the holiday. Lighten up! What’s the big deal any way? Sanitary engineers deserve a holiday as well.
I guess you should call the sanitation dept. in your town and see if this gentleman’s working. He’s on the clock 24/7 in my town.
