war_of_music: What hair straightener to get to make already straight hair straighter?
My hair is already straight, but I want to use a hair straightener to make it even straighter. Would it matter between the cheap and expensive ones?

The expensive ones are always better than cheap straighteners.
I recommend the Sedu, it keeps my hair perfectly straight all day long!
They’re about $ 115, but they’re worth every penny!

get a CHI straightner!!!! i have one and its PINK!!! =D they come n all diffrent colors and they make hair shiny instead of fried and frizzy! use heat protectant though so it doesn’t damage ur hair. i use Straight Sexy Hair but u can use any heat protectant- it doesn’t matter. cheap straightners and expensive ones both work but the cheaper ones take longer to make ur hair straight. =)Answer by Blah.
You could get a cheap straightener but it would not last at all! I was using a Revlon 1″ from Target and yes it was fine but in less than an hour my hair was back to the way it was before! I was really sick of it. And I thought I just needed the right products, but whoa, I was stupid! I needed a new straightener. Till a week in a half ago my Sedu straightener arrived and it’s amazing! I use the same products as before and my hair is silky, soft, shiny, and healthy! It stays straight for about 42 hr. I totally recommend this for you! You won’t regret it! C’mon, almost everyone said that the Sedu was great, so try it. It’s worth every penny. And I could sweat and it won’t even frizz up. And it stands fog/humidity extremely well.
Don’t get the CHI! It’s horrible. One pass and your hair would smell like if you put it in an oven. It only has one heat setting (the Sedu heats up to 410 degrees F.) so that would extremely damage you hair. It breaks easily too. So stay away! My friends have it and their hair is so jacked up.
If you do end up buying this straightener I would recommend you use the products I use:
-Shampoo and conditioner Aussie Moist
-John Frieda Frizz-Ease heat protector serum (it’s in an orange bottle)
-Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray
And that’s it! And those products won’t go to waste! Trust me. So really, get it. I got the Sedu because of what so many people said about it.

This is the link that I got it from. They sell them in stores. It’s called Ulta, but when I saw it, it was only the 1 1/2 in one.

I have a chi, and i REALLY like it. i like it because it straightens any kind of hair, and it also heat up pretty quickly too. my hair is straight, and i use it just about every morning. also, it doesn’t make you hair frizzy. AND there’s a whole bunch of products that go with it too. [shine spray, silk infusion, straightening guard, finishing paste…[which is fantastic for guys…especially if you like to spike it up or something…] anyways, there’s lots more too] this is why i like the chi best. don’t go buying some cheap little conair straightener after you read this….you will make yourself mad because they don’t work! trust me i have a conair straightener [black and yellow] and it SUCKS!! trust me…it take over 20 minutes just to heat up…lol no joke. k anyways sorry this is so long…i am very very bred …lol ok hope this helped! [REMEMBER THE CONAIR THING PLEASE!! lol]Answer by esther_jones7
i like the croc wet to dry flat iron. if you look on amazon.com you can find it for about 115 dollars. it is digital which is nice because you can adjust the heat setting to make sure that you arent burning your hair. the fact that it is wet to dry is also nice since it saves you time. you can actually towel dry your hair, section it and it will dry and straighten your hair at the same time!
