Susan C: What gifts can I give to a friend who is moving for university?
My best friend is leaving to move away for university in a few days, and I’d like to get him a few little gifts as a send off. What are some creative, useful things that I could pick up as presents for him. I’ve already thought of things like Starbucks cards (students need caffeine and it ain’t cheap!) but I really need some help getting the ball rolling.

Condoms (Jk most college give them for free now)

If i were you, i buy a mini fridge with a 24 pack of starbuck coffee bottles

Energy drinks, ear plugs, small umbrella to be put in their book bag, a map of the city and granola bars.

A door stop if they are going into halls of residence (helps make friends)
An umbrella
an extension lead: there are never enough plugs in halls
A large bottle of their favourite spirit
extra hangers.

Maybe try looking at some of the digital cameras and camera supplies at . College kids love taking pictures, and having a good camera can make the whole college thing a lot more fun. I know I really appreciated having a good camera when I was in college. (Just make sure he doesn’t go crazy posting pictures! Haha.)
