Olivia: What are gift ideas to give for a wedding?
My friend is getting married soon and I plan on gifting her for her bridal shower and wedding. I spent around 70 for her bridal gift. What should I give for the wedding. I am hoping to not spend as much for that gift. So that mean I want to avoid giving her cash or a gift card. Any ideas for affordable gifts?

There is so many things you can get them. Do they have a registry? I would definitely look at and see then shop around for a gift. I like pots, plates, candle or centerpieces, glass cups or even make a gift basket. I do not think you are going to have a hard time fitting any price range.
you could give her (if you are close to her and there is enough trust) sex toys or sexy clothes to enjoy in the honey moon 🙂Answer by Teresa
Well, if they are just getting married, they will probably need things to start their life together in a new home. Maybe a coffee pot (Maybe) or a tea set, or a set of dishes, or a day spa gift, or even clothes or shoes (I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like a comfortable and cute outfit. But that would work better for the bride I guess)Answer by SarahB
I think a gift basket would be great. Pick a theme, like kitchen utensils, arrange them in a nice pitcher or a large bowl. Bathroom: soaps, washcloths, toothpaste, plunger, etc in a small trash can. Mostly, think of all the little things you forget about when you first move into your own place. Cleaning supplies, nails, spices! The personal touch will make it sweet, and the relief when they realize they don’t have to run out to wal-mart for that little extra for dinner will make a great memory.
This is also an idea I came up with on my own, thinking it would be really cute if someone did it for my own wedding gift. If the couple’s last name is also a brand name, buy a basket and fill it with those things. My soon to be name is Hines. So, we would get ketchup, mustard, nuts, Duncan Hines baked goods. Or you could do a similar thing with their first names.

Maybe a picture frame to put one of her wedding photos into, or something they could use around their house. may have some great tips on affordable and creative gift ideas for your wedding.Answer by Michael
A wedding gift is not an easy thing, I can imagine what you are going through. Usually it is a good idea to give something for the house, since your friend is going to start a new life (usually in a new house). Cash is useful, but at the same time is impersonal and it will be soon forgotten. Lets be realistic here: how much can 50 dollars really help? Wouldn’t it be better to give her something that she will want to cherish for the rest of her life? I can’t tell you what to buy, because that involves knowing the person and what she likes. Think about what she enjoys the most, but don’t forget her partner… remember it is a gift for both of them. Hope this helps.
