MyMax: Who should receive gifts from vendors in a small business?
I work for a small manufacturing company. The woman who greets customers keeps most of the gifts for herself given by the vendors during the holiday season. One agency gave a thank you for your business gift of a $ 50 gift card. She kept it. On top of that, she is a Jehovah’s Witness. Is there any business etiquette on receiving gifts?

Such gifts should be refused and no one should get them and certainly the person you mentioned should not be claiming them all.
They should be given to the owner of the company or at least to the manager on duty.
