The invention of the wheel or electricity. It’d most certainly have to be an invention of some sort, since that’s a “push” of many events, be it speach, religion, technology, or other invent of man.

I would think that agriculture was the most important achievement. The development of agriculture led to people being able to settle down. It also led to job specialization due to people not having to spend all their time looking for food. Without agriculture, the world wouldn’t exist as we know it.
Another major event I believe was the Cold War. Although there was no bloodshed, if weapons were fired it would’ve turned into a world war and millions would be dead. The US and USSR would return fire on each other with nukes and cause many casualties. The US might’ve had a larger arsenal and more allies, but the USSR had allies too. In the end there would be one shattered and torn world power remaining.
