I have this ex who contacted me and I told my Fiancee about it. In the past he has been jealous, but says he is not now, does that mean he is less interested in me? I do not want him to be jealous, but they say it is good for a man to know that another man is interested in his woman.

he’s not uninterested in you, he just either doesn’t want to freak you out or push you away by saying he is jealous (because that shows insecurity in man world) or he just trusts you. i don’t think it’s anything to get too worried about. he obviously loves you if you’re getting married!!

From what I’ve read about guys, they generally tell you straight out what they feel, women tend to read in too much to every word.

So if he says he’s ok with it, than he’s fine, just don’t rub it in his face …

It does not mean he is less interested in you it means he may have gained some maturity. It was good that you told him as he may have found out anyway. Hopefully you told him you have no interest in seeing the ex. I have mixed emotions when another guy hits on the female I am with. Some is minor jealousy, some is wondering if she is sending out signals. Generally a mature man will think that if she wants to go out now then let her go and be done with her and better to learn her insincerity now rather than after marriage. What was his response when you told him ? That would be part of an answer. Just tell your fiancee that you love him and have no interest in your ex or any other guy. He is the one for you. Look carefully at what happened that made this a not-jealous event. You trusted him. He heard the trust in your voice. He heard commitment. He looked in your eyes and saw no deception or possible competition from anybody else. Your value among women just went higher than anybody else’s on the whole planet. You are a woman her man can trust. Don’t be so foolish as to waste it by making up things so he will be jealous. That works for others because deception and exchange of poisonous feelings is part of what some couples enjoy about each other. In a private moment with other guys, your guy is saying he’s sorry for the rest of the schlubs. They don’t have a woman that they can trust. Be that woman. He’ll be that man for you and give you his trust in return.

I used to be jealous and I’d always say I wasn’t. A little jealousy is flattering but too much can get someone killed. If he’s jealous a little then leave him alone. It shows you he still loves you. He still loves you no less than he did. He’s still yours after all, you are the one marrying him not your ex. It is good to know another man is interested but not if your man is super jealous (that where the killing comes in) just be thankful of what you have and forget the past only learn from it.
