Hey Jude: What do you define as a good understanding of algebra and geometry?
I’m going into algebra (pre-algebra) and I’m just getting into geometry. I wanted to know what specific things you would consider you must good at in algebra and geometry to have “a good grasp” of them so you can move on to stuff like trigonometry and calculus. I’m kind of behind so to speak, and I just want kind of the big picture scope of it. Thanks!

learn certain ways to solve equations:
know what variables are
learn certain theorems
In geometry:
understand shapes and other geometric figures
learn certain theorems
use algebra
