To the best of my memory my earthly father never told me anything about God.
But no one had a perfect father on earth and you learn about God your Father from the Spirit and his Word while you look ahead to the glorious time ahead.
Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Ways to learn about the Father:
Reading the Bible we get examples of the Heavenly Father and His perfect love. Praying about what we’ve read, what we feel, our questions. This all helps going to a good Bible believing church, where you can get to know some of the men who have known and lived a Godly life for some time now. You can watch those men and others and learn more and more about the attributes of God. You can also find Bible Studies where you can get close to people, and learn more about God’s perfect love.
Prayer is an important key. You can learn a lot by watching and asking questions. But, prayer changes hearts. Many times this all that’s needed.
Answer by A ChristianNothing, just, “did you go to church?”, “go to church”, one day he said: “go to church so you can pray to God that he helps us, but now a day’s he’s against my faith, he’s like having an atheist at home when you visit him and stay awhile I watch Christian television and he hates that, he’s a catholic but practices it not, it’s just to say if someone wants to convert him: “I’m catholic”, I have prayed for him over 4 times today as I do every day, he’s 90 years old and still going, I think God is waiting for him to be saved, I’m praying for God not to let him go to hell, God will not let me down I know, for I trust in Him and He will not let down who trust’s in Him.Answer by gertystorrud

He told me to be love God…and pray. But dont be a fanatic. I disagree with him.
A fanatic is a fan.
I am a Tina Turner fan…I am a Eagles fan…
but how would life be if I put those before God.
Therefore I am a Jesus Fan!
He comes first in my life.
