iampace: What career is similar to architecture but requires less math?
I am very interested in a career in architecture because I love to design houses (drawing and plotting only, I don’t take into account the math). I am not very good at math (I got mostly C’s in high school math), and more importantly is the fact that I wouldn’t really want to have to deal with math/engineering every day. Is there a career that involves the designing aspect but does not involve too much math? I am not really interested in interior design, but if worst came to worst I wouldn’t mind it. Other options are appreciated though!

Graphic Designers requires less math, but are expected to face keen competition; individuals with Web site design and animation experience have the best opportunities.
Urban and regional planners may require less day to day applications of math but still may require some understanding of math and statistics concepts.
The options that I recommend is going to a site like the Khan Academy and work on your math until you good at it. Understanding of Math is fundamental to some many jobs.
I started with the basic math and I am working my way though all the maths exercises. My goal was to start at the very basics and work my way through all the exercises, because I found that even though I had a lot of math, there was basic math that I forgotten.
I started working several hours usually on weekends but then go for days without accessing the site. About three months ago, I decided to do at least one exercise or watch a video every day. I think works out better for me.
If you get tired of doing math, I recommend looking at some of the other videos. I particularly like some of the finance and history videos.
