What can you use to color easter eggs other than dye?

ixseexstars: What can you use to color easter eggs other than dye?
I don’t have any easter egg dye and i would like to color some eggs before i leave my friend to go home to my house. We were thinking about using a variation of markers and just free handing it. But, we got yelled at. Would that work anyways or any other suggestions?

Markers will work, as long as they have water-based-ink. If you make designs first with a white or light crayon, the marker won’t stick to that part and you will have a fun design.

Lead paint works perfectly, jk, but I guess you could use crayons, but I don’t know how good that would taste, I think markers would be disgusting.. I think you should just go and buy some dye.
