A: What can my dad eat if his kidneys our not strong and healthy?
This doctor told my dad his kidneys were not right. He told my dad he couldn’t drink any type of drink except water or some different kind of milk. He also told my dad he couldn’t eat foods with too much fat in them or foods with a lot of sugar. What food do you recommend we make?

Eat food, not too much, mostly vegetables.
You would need to specify your dad’s kidney problem: is there a stone? what kind (calcium? uric?)
Anyways, ban sodas (also I don’t recommend that tea from a previous answer, your dad’s pb is not weight loss) and cut down red meat, since it’s often fat.
You can have fish and white meat as long as you don’t cook it with fat.
You can start by choosing the vegetables you like as a basis for your meal, and then serve them with potatoes/pasta/rice/other grains (no oil, except extra virgin olive oil). If you eat vegetables only you will be hungry 1h after your meal, but starchy foods take longer to digest so you feel full longer.
