i hate the long adverts, that’s all i hate and people talking loudly or flashing their phones and sometimes i think the volume is too loud

I like the gigantic screen with a good sound system, getting to see a movie as soon as it’s released (rather than waiting for it to come out on video), and the fact that it gets me out of the house.

I don’t like that I can’t lay back very far and relax, it’s extremely expensive, and there are other people there who can be annoying

Overall, i’d rather watch movies at home.

It varies from cinema to cinema. Some have really big, clean seats with drink holders that can also hold bags of chocolate without having them fall out the bottom, but then you get other theatres that have tiny seats upholstered with fabric that feels like it’s made from a kitchen scourer, there’s not enough leg space, you’re given the choice of sitting on either piss, a chewed up Starburst lolly or a spring jabbing your a-s-s, and then there’s NO drink holder. What a crock! THEY should be paying ME for having to go through all of that.

Watching it on a big screen is the best part. What I dislike is when people nearby talk to one another during a movie or answer their phones while it’s playing. The chairs aren’t always super comfortable either and the prices for the food is atrocious!

I went to the cinema to see Paranormal Activity and it completely ruined the experience. Bunch of snotty kids and teens whispering, giggling, making noises etc and had to wait about 25 mins outside when it was supposed to have opened. Plus the cinema is overly priced. For big action movies its quite good but I still prefer watching it from the comfort of my sofa, 50″ plasma TV and surround. In total I’m saving money as well

The only good thing about the cinema is the beverages and even their overpriced
