I’m trying to complete list of title episodes and the movies they are referring to:
Season 1:
1. Pilot – let’s skip this one
2. The Wild Brunch = The Wild Bunch (1969 movie)
3. Poison Ivy = Poison Ivy (Drew Barrymore movie)
4. Bad News Blair = The Bad News Bears!!! (just found out!)
5. Dare Devil = Daredevil!
6. The Handmaiden’s Tale = The Handmaid’s Tale
7. Victor/Victrola = Victor/Victoria (very very sweet julie andrews movie – actually how i realised they’re being named for movies… watch it if you can :))
8. Seventeen Candles = Sixteen Candles
9.Blair Waldorf must Pie! = John Tucker must die???? not sure!
10. Hi, Society = High Society
11. Roman Holiday = Roman Holiday
12.School Lies = School Ties?
13. The Thin Line between chuck and nate = the thin red line??? cannot come up with anything else!
14. The Blair Bitch Project = The Blair Witch Project (haha nice one! i almost suspected that’s why they called her blair!)
15. Desperately Seeking Serena = Desperately Seeking Susan
16. All About my Brother = All About my Mother
17. Woman on the Verge = Woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown
18. Much ‘I do’ About Nothing = Much ado about nothing
Season 2
1. Summer, Kind of Wonderful = Some kind of wonderful
2. Never Been Marcused = never been kissed?? 🙂 another drew barrymore
3. The Dark Night = the dark knight (batman)
4. The Ex-Files = The X-Files (haha nice play on words :))
5. The Serena also Rises = the sun also rises
6. New Haven Can Wait = Heaven can Wait
7. Chuck in Real Life = Dan in Real Life
8. Pret-a-poor-J = Pret-a-porter
9. There Might Be Blood = There Will Be Blood (daniel day lewis)
10. Bonfire of the Vanity = The Bonfire of the Vanities
11. The Magnificent Archibalds = The Magnificent Ambersons? (i’d prefer the magnificent seven)
12. It’s a Wonderful Lie = It’s a Wonderful Life
13. Oh Brother, Where Bart Thou? = Oh Brother, Where art thou?
14. In the Realm of the Basses = In the Realm of the Senses?
15. Gone with the will = Gone with the Wind
16. You’ve got Yale = You’ve got Mail (meg ryan and tom hanks :))

19. The Grandfather = The Godfather (although there is a movie called the grandfather… i don’t know)

16. While you were sleeping!!! – really really lovely sandra bullock movie 🙂
… i hope they keep using cool movie titles such as batteries not included and some like it hot!
please give me your input, those with the question mark are shady…
