Edit: Perhaps she realizes the possibility of getting pregnant and doesn’t want to doom her child’s life just so that you can get off? Perhaps she is pursuing a temperate, non-hedonistic life? It’s odd that you would think that higher-order things are worthy of rebuke while animalistic behavior should be embraced.

She doesn’t want to appear easy, if it’s a friend. If it’s her husband or boyfriend, maybe she is angry with him about something, maybe she is tired, or maybe she just isn’t in the mood. If it’s her boyfriend it could also be that she doesn’t believe in sex before marriage.

I don’t love him;
he doesn’t love me;
I don’t trust him/am unsure of him;
he lacks seduction skills (just attractive looks don’t do it for me);
propriety (ie. we’re at my grandmothers’ birthday);
I’m stressed;
I’m on my period;
no condoms available (I’m not on the pill);
no time;
he’s drunk, angry or aggressive (that would scare me);
I feel nauseous (headaches don’t interfere with my libido, but I associate nausea with disgust).

Women- Older women are more sensitive and fragile if they are tired they won’t want to or maybe the guy is just not romantic about it.

Girlfriend- Maybe she wants to wait till marriage, she may not think that she wants to do that with you because she doesn’t feel like you and her are serious enough to go that far.

Friend-She doesn’t want to ruin your friendship.

She’s afraid you have an sti or she has one. I used to know this woman that had herpes and she wouldn’t have sex with an outbreak. She didn’t use condoms or inform her partners of it either.
She’s afraid you won’t keep seeing her if she’s too “easy.”
If she’s a friend it might ruin your friendship.
She has to be in love to have sex.
She’s involved with someone.
She’s cheating.
She’s married.
She’s embarrassed of her body in some way.

Here are some basic reasons I can think of, in no particular order.

1. Person is underage
2. Woman is already in a relationship
3. God would disapprove
4. Friends would disapprove
5. Society would disapprove
6. Said intercourse would damage relationship ties (ex. Intercourse with boss, coworker, best friend’s boyfriend, etc.)
7. Woman is attracted to person sexually, but despises their personality.
8. Risk of pregnancy
9. Risk of disease

it could be a timing thing, she may just not be feeling up for sex at the moment. maybe you did something that turned her off. maybe her world doesn’t revolve around you and satisfying your libido. her mind could be elsewhere.

maybe she doesn’t enjoy having sex with you and she doesn’t want to admit it or talk about it. it could be some innocuous thing that needs a small adjustment, or it could be your overall approach. i don’t know.

maybe you should ask her instead of us next time.
