Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Indonesia (i think), and thats all i can think of. In Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Syria, it is mandatory to be Muslim and the law IS Islam.

Bangladesh and Indonesia are the countries with the highest Muslim population. Then there is the Middle East of course: Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc. India is predominantly Hindu, but does have a significant Muslim population too. Also, Northern African countries have high Muslim populations: Morocco, Algeria, etc, as well as the Southern region of Spain.

many people when they hear of islam, they automatically turned their heads toward the middle east. countries such as saudi arabia or iraq. however majority of muslims reside in asia and southeast asia. of the 1.6 billion muslims in the world, 207,000,105 muslims reside in indonesia(a muslim country). the next is pakistan and egypt. some other islamic countries are: afghanistan, saudi arabia, most of north africa…etc. im sure you can also google this question and find a more precise answer.
