I Ride: What are the different levels of Pony Club and what does each require?
I’m thinking of joining pony club and would like to know what each level requires. I just want to know as much as possible before making a commitment. Anything else you think I should know please add it. Thanks a lot.

Pony Club is great but it isn’t something that can be easily explained in a paragraph or two. The levels are called “ratings”. You start as unrated and then go up as follows:
D1
D2
D3
C1
C2
C3
B
HA
A
Each new level will require better riding and better stable management skills.
Answer by LiveToRide.RideToLive.It’s starts at unrated, D-1, D-2, D-3, C-1, C-2, C-3 and I think there’s B, HA, A. Most people only get to C-2 to C-3ish though. Haha. To learn exactly what you need for each level it’s best to get the manuals as there is mounted & unmounted stuff for each level.
D manual-
C manual-
For D-1 you need to know basic horse information and basic w-t-c and ground poles/cross rails…
D-2 is w-t-c, emergency dismount, jumping to about 2’3″-2’6″, riding/jumping in the open (xc), etc.
Hope this helps! I’d write more, but the manuals have all the information and are something you’d need to get if you’re going to join the USPC.
