take 10-15 mins to summarize your notes each day either write a short paragraph or talk it out in your head and then this way when it comes to the test you just read your short paragraph summaries of what you learned for the day or for the week and instead of cramming you will be ahead of the game
at my school the teachers tell us to go over previous tests that we have takenAnswer by Brittany
Read the material, flash cards are a helpful source of studying. I usually make up practice tests. Good luck on your exam.Answer by gambit0614
I just recently took and passed the series 7 exam, which if you ask anyone in the financial industry will tell you is a pain the butt. First, I read through the huge amount of reading and set myself a deadline of a month. Then I reviewed and took practice exams on all the chapters to see where I was laking. Then I took and studied the areas I was not doing great in and got my total average score where it was really good. So basically what I am saying is first cover all the material and then review, review, review. Flashcards helped too because you can whip those out whenever you are not doing anything, like at a break or waiting for a bus. Also, if it is a major test, like what I had taken, there will likely be on-line help guides to focus more on the important topics, so check those out. Good luck and I am sure you will do fine.Answer by Lola
Create summaries of all topics, write down all the things you don’t know and keep them with you to bring out whenever you have free time. Create a revision timetable. Use colours to revise with, they help keep your interest and help with remembering things in the exam. Drink plenty of water and relax. Don’t moan about how much you don’t know…do something about it…revise there are more tips on this blog and it helped me a lot Good luck :]
