What are some reasons to convince my mom to let me move into my basement?
I really want to move into the basement of my house, but my mom says it’ll be too much work, because we’d need the plumbing redone, drywall put up, some taken down, and a ceiling put in. Can you list me some reasons to convince her to let me move downstairs? And also, I’m not old enough to get a job so I can help pay for it.

Why do you need to move..looks like it would cost alot.
Not really. She probably figures that if you get too comfortable, you won’t have any incentive to move out later on.Answer by EliseSC
Exactly how old are you, if you’re not old enough to get a job? If so much work is required to be done in order for the basement to be live-able, and since you can’t afford to help out with any payments, then i don’t see why your mom would let you move there. Plus, how would you cook, clean, buy your own groceries, since you don’t have any money? If you wanna live in the basement are you still gonna have your mom do all that for you?? Cuz if that’s the case then there’s really no reason for you to move into the basement.Answer by Felicia
1- If she doesnt let you then .. cry!
2- You’ll be quieter and less bothersome
3- When your down there its quieter for homework
4- If you are in gymnastics then you have more space for “tricks” (use a matt)
5-You’ll help clean up more!! just think theres alot of things!! lolAnswer by David G
First tell how old you are, then we can help you.
