: What are some of the earliest literature stories?
I am doing a powerpoint for old literature and i would like to make a slide of some of the oldest literature. Can anyone help me out?

Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey could be used, since they are stories written from passed-down legends of the Greeks and Troy.
Gilgamesh I believe is the earliest written story discovered to date. It was carved in stone tablets that pre-date the old testemet by about 2000 years. Also it is a fantastic story, you should read it.Answer by jplatt39
