James: What are some large cap stocks that pay high dividends that are good for the long term?
Im getting about $ 1200.00 and instead of spending it i want to invest it. Im going to college to achieve my MBA and become a fund analyst or a stock analyst. Eventually when i gather enough capital i will become a self employed investor. Im just looking for stocks with good dividends, to keep in their for years about 4-6 years.

Frontier communication’s (NYSE:FTR) (this stock has a high dividend yield, it isn’t a massive company, and its market is a bit odd per say but its fundamentals are pretty strong) Yield: 13.62
Republic Services Inc.. (NYSE:RSG) (this ticker im giving it to you because the Oracle bought into it its not a very high yield stock but the oracle see’s something in this company!) Yield:2.47
American Eagle Corp. (NYSE:AEO) (took a huge hit in recent months due to below analyst earnings, value investment wise this stock is underpriced and its financials are in pretty good shape!) Yield:3.65
