I have a mutual fund project in my economics class and I need to invest on some stocks.
What are some good stocks? Why?

short term DO, still moving upward. I like MDR, but next week can change as it gets closer to earnings, I’m in both, All so look at SPY

Liz Claiborne (LIZ) – is currently trading near its support 4.97, if you look in the past year, there is a pattern, whenever it reaches around $ 4, it then rebounds to almost $ 7 which is a 75% increase

Research In Motion (RIM)- is also a good stock right now, even though its got Apple as competition, with its release of the Playbook soon, it is bound to increase the stock, it may be a delayed increase in stock price, but it will eventually come. RIM has a good market segment with businesses, most corporations get blackberry’s not iPhones, so a new product like the Playbook will definitely shine.

I think these two stocks will do well in the next 3-6 months.
