What are some basic apartment things you need but often forget about?

RiceMama ft. BabyQ: What are some basic apartment things you need but often forget about?
I am moving into my own apartment December 1st and was wondering if anyone knew of things they often realised they needed during or after moving into a new place. This is my first apartment so I am open to any suggestions.

Good for you cause I want my own apartment too. But i would say is shower curtains.
