jacknash711: What are some non-scam websites that help newbies start an online, stay-at-home business?
The internet is LOADED with “buy my system and make a million dollars starting a business on line” offers but I don’t have the time or stomach to wade through all the scam offers. Can anyone suggest some real money making offers that require some work(I am not afraid of working for my success) that don’t take advantage of newbies like me in the internet, on-line business area?

Check with the better business bureau.
Any business where you make your own product and sell it yourself is yours, not anyone elses, and won’t be a scam.

I’m a member there for 2 years now. They’ve been online since Sept 2005 and there are lots of good reviews about them. As of today (1/18/09) they have helped 21,479 members make money on the internet. All the tutorials on the site are step by step and you get one on one support on the forums.
Unlike most of the scam gurus, the owners actually participate on the forums and are active affiliate marketers (this means they don’t rely on making money off members) who make money in other fields such as weight loss, dating, and gaming. They also just released a new system where they researched some of these industries and offered them to members so that they can make money without having to do 100% of the work.
If you do take advantage of this be sure to look for me on the forum…I’m easy to find with over 1300 posts….my user name is ‘kpfingaz’.
Good luck
Answer by AmyHey Jack,
Completely understand how you feel. I really like what you said because I don’t normally come across someone who truly wants to work instead of wasting their time or hardly doing anything. I like that. Send me a email or im and I’d be happy to help you. Have a great night!
Answer by Loa GKHi there!
I am rather new to the Internet and I don´t have a lot of experience.
I am a stay at home mom, recently I needed some extra money to come in..so I started to look for some good opportunity.
Through a friend of mine I found a program that teaches you everything you need to know about how to make money online. You get access to step by step guides, very detailed information, on how to make money online. This is something that everyone can use, not just people that have experience! You get all the help and tutorials that you need.
It´s been two weeks now and with the little time that I have been able to devote to this I have already made over $ 300 and that´s just the start.
With this I can work from home and control my hours.
You can take a look in the source below. I encourage you to watch the video, it explains a lot!
Hope you found this helpful!
Take care and good luck! 🙂

Answer by Nuwave Solutions GroupHere are my suggestions on finding a legitimate opportunity that’s right for YOU:
– Set your financial goals — Are you just looking for extra income or a potential full-time income? How long (and hard) are you willing to work to meet your goal?
– Determine if you are looking for a JOB or a BUSINESS — there is a distinct difference between the two and you want to focus your energies appropriately for the best results.
– If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? If you are looking for a BUSINESS, go with your passions, things that interest and motivate you the most. Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses). I recommend checking out the Telecommuting Moms folder here at WAHM.com for leads on home JOBS. I also have some resources for freelance work and telecommuting jobs on my Work From Home site.
– Review your budget — know ahead of time what you are willing and able to invest into your business, including start-up costs and ongoing maintenance and promotion.
– Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research. Check resources such as www.bbb.org for potential scams.
