I’m not opening my own restaurant yet, I might sometime in the future. How do you make your restaurant a successful restaurant? How can you make your restaurant well known? Why is apple bees, Friday, and Friendly so popular and successful? would it be better to open up your restaurant in a small tall or big city?

Knowledge, planning, and experience. Just because it looks easy on a television realty show doesn’t mean everyone can make it happen.

I avoid chain restaurants like the ones you mention because I find their food mundane and uninspiring. But, to each his/her own. McDonalds is enormously successful.
