Anurag: Trouble with the “Found new hardware” thing!! Help!?
I don’t know what it means but every time i switch on my computer, i get this message (in the ‘Found New Hardware’ box) that it founded a new hardware – SCSI/RAID Host Controller. I have no such thing attached to any of my ports. The only things i’ve attached is my modem and my printer.
When I try installing the hardware, after a few seconds, it shows an error.
Is it a virus or a system error?? Help get me rid of this thing!!
I never actually installed any any other hardware (as far as i remember) except for connecting it LAN…

Are you really sure that you do not have it built in? Have you tried installing something that failed? Some scanners, in the past, were parallel port but created a scsi look-alike to operate properly. Possibly a tape back-up (that is not currently connected) caused this as well. Check your bios to see if you have a host controller.
here is the driver its asking forAnswer by gammaraze
Motherboards come with SCSI/RAID host controllers and a bunch of other things already on them, you have to install the drivers or it will bug you at every start up
