tennis?!?!?

so i’m doing a tennis camp this summer and i have never played tennis before and i was wondering what am i supposed to wear? I mean, i dont wanna go out and buy a professional uniform, but i want some idea of what to wear! thanks!

It depends on WHERE you are going to play. If at a nudist resort… NOTHING at ALL 😉

Shorts & t-shirt or polo shirt? White or pastels, watch a tennis tourney on TV & see what they wear; or visit a local tennis or country club. Athletic wear is a good choice, go to your local mid-scale dept store (Such as JC Penney or Sears). Just make sure you can move comfortably in the shorts and that they are not too short, otherwise you might be putting on more of a show than you intended…..

It depend on your age, I suppose you are a teenager, so prepare short, t shirts, hats, good tennis shoes to play tennis, not any kind of tennis shoes, a sunblock is very important.

well you would most likely wear shorts, or even a skort (skirt with shorts underneath) that’s what most people wear anyways, and than just a t-shirt, or a sleeveless shirt.
oh, and try to go more for white, than any darker colors!

i play tennis and a simple t-shirt and shorts will do but if you want to look really nice like what most people where at tournaments you could go to a sports authority and in the tennis section they have some tennis outfits. also for shoes you will need tennis shoes the wrong kind will hurt your feet. any color is accecptable but black will keep you hot.

The simplest way to find out what to wear at a tennis camp is first looking into your closet. Find whatever is comfortable to run in and in the heat. Bring WATER!!! Oh yeah, bring a good racket to hit with and a many many many balls.
