It’s highly unlikely unless you’ve been picked for rep teams throughout your life.
You need to be playing as good as you can week in week out for whatever club you are playing for.If you are playing well then you should phone these clubs and ask them to either send someone to watch you play(if they are close by)or send them video clips of you in action and see where it goes from there.Alot of professional players are picked up from a young age and are molded into the players you see today, that doesnt mean if you aint with a club now then you cant make it.Lee Byrne the fullback for Wales was playing semi pro rugby till he was 24 so there is always hope if you train hard enough and have the skill level.Answer by Jackson R
Contact Chris Lloyd at London Wasps about the academy apprenticeships they offer.
School/college in morning, plus specialist rugby in afternoon/evening.
They invite players to OPEN TRIAL days a couple of times a year.
here is the email address
[email protected]
Ask for an academy apprentice prospectus, and for an invite to an open trial
Best of luck ! at the very least you will get a few hours training with Sean Edwards at the open trial
