Kris: Can film still be successfully developed 7 years after the pictures were taken?
I recently found some rolls of film I just never got around to developing. Should it be ok to develop or should I not waste my time and money trying to find out? Thanks!
The film was left in a kitchen drawer away from light.

As long as they never been exposed to light they should be fine.
You may have color-shift. But it could be something that was taken during an important event-so think about that.Answer by Samantha
They may turn out, they may not.
If the film was left somewhere where it may have been exposed to light or heat, your chances of getting a good photo will be lessened.
I always like to give it a shot, because even if most of them don’t turn out, you can sometimes find a real gem!
Edit: Stored in a drawer, go for it. Hopefully you will get some good ones. And as the person below me said, often you will only have to pay for the ones that turn out.
