Princess April Ann: How come they stopped selling Majesty magazine and royalty magazine in some cities here in America?
I want to know why many People here in America don’t buy the royal magazines? Nobody likes to read about the royal family. I am the only huge fan of the royal family. The bookstore in my hometown stopped selling these magazines. I do go to another city to buy the magazines.

I’m an an American, and I do have a certain interest in the royal family, but not enough to buy a magazine. Anything I’m interested in I can find online. Why buy a magazine to clutter up my house?
If you buy the mags anyway, why not buy a subscription and have them delivered to your door?
Answer by Ron Qn.Bookstores everywhere are businesses, and bookstores exist to sell merchandise to customers and to make a profit. Bookstores would not stock merchandise if there is very low customer demand, and relatively few people in the United States have sufficient interest in royalty for any bookstore to stock “Majesty” or “Royalty” magazines. I subscribe to “Majesty” and “Royalty” magazines, and you can do the same. I live in a California city with a population of more than 800,000 and I’ve seen only one store that carries “Majesty” magazine.Answer by Ms. Minerva
Since you say you are a huge fan of the royal family, then you need to stop and consider the result of purchasing publications like that. Surely you remember what a problem it was for Diana to have so much intrusive and unwelcome press corps around her all the time. It made her life miserable and it caused a situation she DIED from.
Every time you buy a publication that makes it’s profits out of dogging royals, you are supporting the same intrusive packs of folks who hound and make the lives of the royals miserable. If people didn’t buy those things, then there would be no reason for the press to behave so intrusively and so badly.
Those magazines are no longer on most racks in the USA because most people in the USA are smart enough to have made the connection that each one of them who buys those things is directly responsible for the intrusive and unwelcome photographers who hound celebrities and royals. People DID care about Diana and are huge fans of her sons…as a result, they stopped giving the publications money…..and it, hopefully, will lessen the packs of photographers and reporters around William.
If you truly care about a celebrity or royal, QUIT buying all those trashy publications. Your purchases are directly responsible for making photographers and journalists hound those people you say you “love”. If there was no profit in it for them to hound those poor peope…and make their lives a living hell….then the photographers and journalists would stop hounding and following them around.
Some things are actually very simple when you stop and think about them.

IF nobody buys a specific product, do not stock it for sale. [Simple Marketing]Answer by Lord Lucan
I believe it is a communist plot dear girl. One must always be on the lookout for a red under the bed. If you have any evidence whatsoever that some communist thugs are putting pressure on the owner of your local bookshop not to stock these publications, then one urges you to inform the Federal Bureau of Investigation at once!Answer by TSK
Supply and demand? Glad to hear people have got better things to do with their time and hard earned cash!
