metalambience: How do you start a relationship rather than a friendship?
I’m 23 and have never even been on a date. I have plenty of opportunities to meet woman, but I always end up becoming friends with them rather than something more. My problem is the qualities I would find attractive in a friend are the same exact ones I find attractive in a girlfriend (kindness, honesty, etc.). How can I shift from making new friends to possibly making a girlfriend, and is it possible to still ask out a girl I am friends with without endangering the friendship or looking like I have ulterior motives in becoming friends with her?

kino– start touching the girl from the beginning of the interactions. I don’t mean being a pervert, but touching her in the arms, shoulder, back, etc. If you do that, the girl will see you as a potential boyfriend instead of just another friend.

So how do you know when it’s time to kiss? Does she have to bend over to kiss you? So your really a nice guy. One of the ones who most girls will pass up fro a bad boy. I don’t even know how to begin to answer your question but friendship is a great place to begin a relationship. Then at some point you might want to ask her how she feels about you and let her know how you really feel about her. Good LuckAnswer by Molly
i dont know if you would like to take advice from me since i am a 13 year old, but my advice, would be to tell her how you feel about her. I always give my friends that advice, and even guys, and it works out ok.Answer by Tringula
