peacejess94: What should I do with my broken friendship bracelet?
When I was in Oklahoma visiting my best friend, she gave me a friendship bracelet and I wore it nonstop. Unfortunately, it broke today, and I don’t know what to do with it. I want to have at least a part of it on my person at all times, and hopefully there is some other way to display it since the string is too weak to stay together if it is tied again. This is something of a lot of sentimental value, and if there is any way to make it into something else to keep with me at all times that would be great. Thanks in advance.

If your friend made the bracelet, the simple thing to do is to email her and tell her you wore it so much it broke – and ask if she can fix it. I do beadwork as a hobby and often wind up fixing things for my friends–sometimes things I made, sometimes other stuff.
Or you could get a little medicine bag – a tiny drawstring pouch – and carry the bracelet in that. You can sew it yourself, or buy one at a craft shop, or even crochet one. (I’m linking to a how-to site). OR you could flatten the bracelet out and stitch it to a strip of leather just a little bigger than the bracelet, punch a hole in each end of the leather, and put a cord or piece of elastic at the ends to hold it on your wrist.
It’s lovely that you still feel so close to your friend. I hope it’s one of those friendships that lasts a lifetime.
