Ellie: SOCCER!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Heeyyy, I’m a freshman this year and i really REALLY want to make varsity soccer. Every training, I can see the coaches watching me and chatting to eachother. I am a very encouraging young girl and I always have team spirit. I am pretty talkative, (maybe too much) and I am always giving 110% and have good teamwork, aggressiveness, and I have a lot of speed. Right now I am on a select team but MANY people are trying out, so many freshmen and a lot of others …… do you think I will make it??? And what can I do before tryouts start next week?
already, i probably exersize atleast 13 hours a week

I think you stand a good chance if you’re on a select team 🙂
Make sure you’re in good shape, run like a mile a day, eat right. That means not too much halloween candy 😉 But don’t over-work out. Get lots of sleep…at your age, try to get AT LEAST 9 hours a night, but go for 10 for extra energy. And be ready for some conditioning.
at my school as a freshman the highest you can go is JVAnswer by England for the the word cup
ball control and awareness, pay attention too the game and not too the coaches, a good first touch helps.Answer by brewcrewfan101
We have no way of telling you that without seeing you play and the other girls play. Just play like you normally do, and don’t try to do too much. It’s good to set lofty goals for yourself like you have done, but don’t be disappointed if you don’t make it. I came in off a club state championship thinking I would make var as a freshmen, but I didn’t even make it till I was a junior, but I had a great season and was named captain my senior year.Answer by Bruce
Just keep conditioning for now…Your body must get adapt to the cold weather..Keep giving your 110% and do not stop practicing…Also don’t worry to much..just play and the most important thing is have fun..the ball is your friend as the other members of the team…do not just think in you when you play…I also can tell you more if you tell me what position do you play…but for now get your body in the best condition…Answer by Karen
wow lol first i think we are twins.. but i was in the exact same spot as you i am a freshman this year but our season is already over i made varsity and i even started and it wasn’t that our team was bad either lol we were like in the top20 in my state but anyway yeah you should be cool unless your lien about all that ….coaches talk a lot when i am at tryouts too it used to freak me out but i talked to old coaches about it and they said that was good (mostly) haha i sub for tons of teams with like 16 and 17 year olds so get used to playing with older girls and you’ll be good my friend injuries are a MAJOR factor last season i had a rolled ankle, i developed shin splints, and i had 3 concussions just be careful stretch and good luck get in shape fast if you do make it you will be the underdog and you want to make a good name for yourself so your next years will be good:)Answer by Hen
i think you got a really good chance of making. i almost made varsity at my school and i only showed up to half the tryouts so they didn’t think i was committed to the team (and i wasn’t) so i got put on jv. from my experience you don’t really have to try at all because school soccer is so easy. so just don’t get all stressed out about it, it will make things harder for you
