well as soon as possible becuz if you want her to do anything in the future, you should start asap
2 or 3 start training
in the early years like 2-5 just put her in a class with other kids because at that point having a private coach doesn’t help that much
by the time thats shes 6 or 7 and she can actually start to really grasp the concepts i’d get her a coach if she wants to do gymnastics and shows some talent at itAnswer by DevonL
I’m a male artistic Gymnast so I’m just curious why you want to her to do rhythmic over artistic?
With that said, I started Gymnastics when I was 3, it tends to be the best age to get started at it. I’m not entirely sure if it works the same for rhythmic but yeah.Answer by RGfreak
It’s best to start at a young age while she’s flexible. (Most three year olds can do splits and cobras without much trouble). This really can cement her flexibility and make it easier for her to learn the moves as she ages.
So the best ages are 3-5, but that doesn’t ensure her to be good in the sport. There are quite a few RG gymnasts who started at nine and ten are doing very well.
