: What is the sindarin translation for sister?
Im also wondering what the sindarin translations for little/younger sister and big/older/elder sister is? My sister and I would like to get matching tattoos.

Sindarin has several words for ‘sister’:
gwathel – sister, associate
muinthel – sister
neth – sister, girl (in her teens, approaching the adult); also young
nîth – sister
thêl – sister

For ‘little sister’ a word is attested:
nethig – “litte sister”, Biol. ring finger (Elvish play-name used by and taught to children)
But you could also say:
thêl neth (young sister; in Sindarin the adjective usually follows the noun it describes)
thêl vîw (small sister; vîw is the mutated form of mîw – small, tiny, frail)
thêl bîn (little sister; bîn mut. pîn – little)
thêl dithen (little sister; dithen mut. tithen – little, tiny)

For ‘big sister’ you could use:
thêl einior (elder sister)
thêl iphant (old sister; iphant – aged, having lived long, old (with no connotation of weakness))
thêl dond (tall sister; dond mut. tond)
(Unfortunately, there’s no word for ‘big’ in Sindarin.)

Thêl can of course be exchanged with any of the other words for ‘sister’.
Dictionary: https://www.jrrvf.com/hisweloke/sindar/online/english.html (see A1 and A2)
Grammar: https://folk.uib.no/hnohf/sindarin.htm (for the mutations)

I listed no comparative forms (older, younger; except elder, which is attested) above because Sindarin does not have a true comparative but rather uses intensified forms (e.g. maer – good -> ammaer – exceedingly good). While this usually works fine in other texts, it seems to be a bit odd for this purpose.
But for completion, here are some possible forms:
thêl anneth (younger sister)
thêl eniphant (older sister)
thêl emmîv (smaller sister)
thêl athond (taller sister)
