How to say “I Love You” in Tigrinya (Eritrean language)?

KP83: How do you say “I love you” in Eritrean language Tigrinya?
I am trying to do something romantic for my girlfriend on Christmas who is Eritrean. I am trying to find out how to say “I love you” in her language (Tigrinya) without going to her or family. If someone could tell me the proper spelling that would be much appreciated.

– “Afkireka” (as said to a male)
