I am REALLY embarrased to email my mom to start shaving. Do you think i should email her? It seems a lot easier to me than asking her in person.

No, do it in person. If I had followed this advice, it would have saved me years of anxiety. Don’t worry about what others think, a mother shaving her children is the most natural thing in the world.

when i wanted to started shaving i was just like “mom, im not gonna wear those short/caprice/watevers for gym” then shed be like “why” and id be like “my legs are so hairy!”

that was my plan of attack 😛 but, if u feel uncomfortable speaking to hear about it, ya, sure, email her. why not.

Oh my god! I had that same question with my mom, she let me shave my armpits but not my legs! So here’s what you should do… Yes, ask her. If she says no then don’t do what i did and start shaving.. instead, let them get hairier and hairier and hopefully your mom can not stand it and lets you shave. I know that’s what i did! I say to ask her in person.

Your question reads funny; it sounds like you want her to actually shave you (at least, I hope that’s not what you mean, lol). Personally, I think it would be weird to e-mail her, when you could just ask. Try to keep in mind that at some point, she had to ask her mom the same thing.

It would look weird if you’re living with her and she gets this email like “Oh, hey mum. Just upstairs doing homework. Anyway, I was wondering if I could start shaving because, you know, I’m getting mistaken for the yeti these days.”

Alright This is your body you are talking about here. Don’t email her. Just do what you want to do. Don’t let others make up your decision. If you want to shave grab a razor and some shaving creme and start shaving 🙂

go to the store with her and buy shaving stuff… she’ll see what you want to do with it..

You should ask her in person. Trust me, even though it’s embarrassing, it’ll be worth it in the long run, because you can talk to her like a responsible adult and she’ll be more likely to say yes that way.
