Cameron: What separates fashion from barbies mindlessly following trends?
If someone likes clothes because they like them, it’s perfectly acceptable, but the whole concept of fashion seems to be based around pretending to like something because other people do and you’re afraid of not conforming to mainstream culture.

Fashion is following trends, but putting your own spin to it. “Mindless Barbies'” (haha I like that!) just follow trends without any of their own personal style.
Fashion is for a reason that isn’t “because it’s in right now”. the barbies only reason for something is “because it’s so in”. Fashion is temporary, but style is forever. These “barbies” only have “fashion”Answer by Yolanda
:l To tell the truth, fashion to me is everyone’s own concept of beauty expressed through clothes. It’s what they think looks good. I have a twin, and we’re both very different. She always buys things that are similar to what other people are wearing, while I just pick out whatever I think looks good to me. She’s really embarrassed by what I wear xD . I guess the people who are what you consider “Barbies” actually just want to feel safe and not stand out, though they don’t realize that people shouldn’t not like them just because of their clothes. Personally, in my high school, all of the girls wear either those black mini skirts, black yoga pants, or really tight skinny jeans. They’re simply scared of being different, and that’s the way most people in the world work, unless you understand that you can be whoever you want to be (Haha, that’s almost a Barbie commercial quote, quite ironic!).
