Frederick Charles Krueger: Do you “safely remove hardware” when taking out the usb from your computer?

It depends
-if you only viewed stuff from USB you don’t have to “safely remove hardware”
-if you transferred something from your USB to your PC you don’t have to “safely remove hardware”
-if you transferred some thing from your PC to your USB you MUST do it or it might “die”

Microsoft has two hardware removal policies
1. Quick removal Policy- This is by default in every PC. If your PC have this setting then we do not required to use safely remove option ever.
2. Better Performance- If this is activated then you always need to use safely remove option.
so in the case of USB I use the second one, otherwise it may harm your system
