Dee Dee: Safe to have intercourse when your vagina is completely hairless?
I’ve been told that the hair protects your skin against the bacteria from your partner during the intercourse. Is it true? As long as my partner and I are safe and clean, there won’t be any problems when both of us are hairless, right?

Actually the only thing I have been told about pubic hair on women is that it’s purpose is to hold (and release) a scent that will attract the male species. I really don’t see that it would protect you from bacteria.
Oh and I’ve been told one other thing, too…My husband begging me to do it.
Answer by ☮Actually the hair there is actually more likely to give some form of infection. It can hold onto the bacteria, you know what I mean?

Answer by Amy FMight need more lube since the hair will not be there to ease friction. Also, hair removal could break skin (scratches, cuts, bumps) which do allow STDs easier transmission.Answer by joshilover_7307
the pubic hair prevents friction and helps protect against bactieria cuz it makes it harder for bacteria to get through the hair. when you shave the vagina has to work extra hard to fight bacteria thats why you generally have more discharge when you shave down there rather then when you dont
