SilverTwilight: What is the punishment for sexual coercion?
If a woman declines to preform a sexual act, but then is pressured and hassled until she fears for her physical well-being and agrees for that reason anyways, what is the sentence/punishment of the accused if they are found guilty?
*sigh* Joseph….
1) Please make up your mind. It’s getting a bit confusing that you add new things every few seconds.
2) There is a HUGE difference between false accusations of rape, and being scared/harrassed into sex.

That is a pretty gray area and I don’t believe it should be a crime, unless it’s an actual rape. If there were an actual threat to your safety, that would be different.
What the media and feminists aren’t telling you is that false accusations by women have reached epidemic proportions in this country.
What should be the punishment for this? The general consensus is: nothing, because of the “come forward” mentality. Women are trained that they should “come forward” with charges, often whether they are factual or not.
Answer by Lisa SYou need to talk to someone from a rape counseling center.
If you feared that refusal would cause you to be harmed, I am pretty sure that comes under rape, rather than coercion.
Good luck.
Answer by daaaaveHighly factual determination to be made upon all of the facts. Depending on how coercive, it will likely be considered some form of rape/criminal sexual conduct, and again depending on specific facts, (and which state you are in) punishment could be anywhere from 3 years to life.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.
