Gary: Promoting a service without appearing to be a scam. What are some things to avoid?
I would like to promote a money lending service but I do not want to appear as another scam. No hidden fees are involved. This is not a car title/payday deal either. I have been lending money through a company and I am quite happy with the results. The company is on the up and up, I receive monthly statements and eventually will receive 1099 forms for tax reasons. So what will encourage people to at least contact me and receive free information? I know there is alot of scams and rip off deals out there. This is not one of them. I would like to start my own group someday. I am still learing the ins and outs of this company.

Hi there! I dont really have a lot of advice for you on this, as I have never been involved with a loan company on either side. I have been a customer of other businesses though, and to make me feel comfortable that you are not a scam, I would check to see if you were a member of the BBB or chamber of commerce or something like that. I would also search the net to see if I could find reviews or comments from other clients/customers.
I hope this has helped a little bit at least!
Good luck!
