I want to be a professor in anatomy and physiology. What are the certifications/ diplomas/ jobs that I should go for in order to make this a reality. I know it will take several years, but what would be the outline of achieving something like this? Just so I get an idea of where I’m going…

Most college professors at 4 year schools have PhD’s. Teachers at community colleges have at least masters degrees or higher, plus other teaching experience like at the high school level. Try this website.

Depends on what type of school you wish to teach at.

At accredited universities and colleges, a Ph.D in Biology or relevant anatomy/physiology is a requirement for such a course. And they usually want 5 years of prior teaching experience.

At community colleges, either Masters or Ph.D degree will suffice. Sometimes, you’ll find even chiropractors (D.C.) teach at community colleges.

In massage therapy schools and acupuncture schools, the requirements are the most lenient, they’ll hire Ph.D, masters, or DC to teach A&P, sometimes without any prior teaching experience. This is probably your best starting point for teaching, there are numerous massage therapy and acupuncture schools looking for instructors.

Fist i think you might need to get a Masters in Biology with the concetration in A&P. Or you can get a basic medical degree from any medical college like USA(mobile) or such. But make sure you have a minor in biology. Check with the university that you are planning on attending and they should beable to get you what you need to know. Look around on the website. anything that they have listed as programs should allow you to get a minor in that .
